Catawba Pottery Snake Bud Vase

As promised I got a couple of new pieces of Catawba Pottery. Now this Snake Bud Vase I found to be remarkable. Margaret spent many hours making this piece and it shows. Putting snakes on pieces is one thing Margaret enjoys doing. This American Indian Pottery snake bud vase measures 8 1/2 inches tall and the opening is 1 3/4 inches across.

New Catawba Indian Pottery coming tomorrow

Just a quick note. Margaret Robbins just called and told me she did a burn of Catawba Pottery yesterday and that her mother Viola Robbins burned some new pieces as well. Viola has 4 of her Catawba Indian wedding vases already sold. Margaret said her "Catawba Indian feather vase" turned out real pretty. I will pick up the pieces in the morning and hope to post them on the website after lunch.
